Today a group of individuals whose visas were rejected by the Canadian government were protesting outside the Canadian embassy in Delhi. Their cause? Condemning the attack on a Hindu temple in Brampton, Canada, allegedly perpetrated by Khalistani extremists
As our Phony Times reporter approached the protest scene, she was met with passionate slogans and determined faces. But, things took a curious turn when she asked one of the protesters, "Sir, what drives your outrage against this attack?"
The protester, donning a bright orange turban, exclaimed, "We won't stand for this nonsense! Canada rejected our visas, but we'll show them we care about their Hindu temples!"
When asked about the Khalistani movement, the protester hastily replied, "Oh, no, no, no! We're not pro-Khalistan. We just... really love Canadian hindu temples." It seemed like a delicate balance between condemning violence and coveting a Canadian visa.
It was clear that these protesters weren't just fighting for religious harmony; they were fighting for a chance to experience Canadian winters.
In a surprising twist, the Canadian embassy released a statement saying, "We appreciate the concern, but perhaps focus on getting a valid visa instead?" The protesters, however, remain undeterred, chanting, "We'll get our visa, and our temple solidarity, too!"
