BJP’s New CM Face Rekha Gupta Forms “Twitter Ministry” To Delete All Her Past Tweets

New Delhi: In a move that redefines “damage control,” the BJP’s newly announced CM face, Rekha Gupta, has launched a Twitter Ministry staffed entirely by retired IAS officers. This comes hours after her decade-old tweets—featuring insults directed at Arvind Kejriwal—resurfaced, leaving the party scrambling to explain why “abusive tweets are bad, but only when others do it.”

Rekha Gupta’s old abusive tweets which went viral within minutes of her CM candidacy announcement. BJP leaders, still busy prosecuting comedians like Ranveer Allahbadia and Samay Raina for “obscene” jokes on India’s Got Latent, were caught in a hypocrisy hurricane.

To erase her digital past, Gupta’s first act as CM face was to create the Ministry of Tweet Erasure (MTE), a squad of retired IAS. “Our mission is to cleanse India’s digital sanskar,” said MTE head.

Key Features of the Twitter Ministry:
  • AI Apology Generator: Automatically drafts “my account was hacked” statements in 12 regional languages.
  • Opposition Tweet Patrol: Flag any anti-BJP tweet as “urban naxal propaganda” and report it to cyber police.

When asked about the hypocrisy of prosecuting comedians while defending Gupta, BJP spokesperson Shri Whataboutery Singh said, “Apples and oranges! Comedians tell jokes. Madam Rekha was… uh… doing political satire. Also, have you visited Maha Kumbh?”
