Mumbai: In a dramatic twist that no one saw coming, podcaster and entrepreneur Ranveer Allahbadia, aka BeerBiceps, has announced he’s changing his name to Ranveer Prayagrajia in a desperate bid to appease the Hindu right-wing and escape the fiery backlash over his “obscene ” remarks on comedian Samay Raina’s show India’s Got Latent.
From Allahbadia to Prayagrajia: A Name Change for Redemption
In a move that can only be described as peak Indian politics meets influencer crisis management, Ranveer declared, “I’ve always been a proud supporter of our culture and the BJP government. To show my commitment, I’m changing my name from Allahbadia to Prayagrajia, just like our beloved government changed Allahabad to Prayagraj. Jai Hind!”
